Radiothon for Kids is a dynamic and heartfelt fundraising program of Children's Miracle Network to support the crucial work of Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. Tune into 107.7 The Bone now and listen to Children’s patients and their families as they tell personal stories of courage and healing, and meet Children’s dedicated medical staff.

107.7 The Bone will be broadcasting live from Children’s Outpatient Center atrium from 6 am to 7 pm on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. You are also welcome to stop by and visit during the show and meet your favorite on-air personalities!
Every dollar raised during the Radiothon will benefit children throughout Northern California who rely on the expert care provided at Children’s Hospital. The Radiothon is only possible through the generous support of 107.7 The Bone, Foresters, the many businesses and individuals who sign up to volunteer, and of course, many generous donors like you.
Last year, the Radiothon for Kids event raised more than $390,000 for the kids and families served here at Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland! This year we are adding the Radiothon 2008 Online Team-Raiser to help to raise even more funds and awareness on behalf of Children's.

107.7 The Bone radio station will broadcast the event starting Thursday, April 10th thru Friday, April 11th from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 12th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland Outpatient Center.

It's easy to register to become a participant Team-Raiser. Click on "Register as an Individual" and follow the prompts to complete the registration form. As a registered participant, you are able to help us to reach our overall goal of $50,000 through the Radiothon 2008 Online Team-Raiser program. You start out by creating your own personal fundraising goal. You will have access to your own participant center to personalize your web page -- add pictures, create a message, and set a fundraising goal.
You will be able to send out an e-mail link to invite others to help you to reach your fundraising goal. You will receive an e-mail alert every time someone chooses to support your goal. You will be able to keep track of your donors by visiting your online participant center.
We are accepting online registrations on Monday, March 3, 2008 through Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
Some of Children's Hospital's special grateful families and friends have formed a team to help this event reach fundraising goals that will really make a difference to the young patients we serve. You may know some of these participants. If you would like to simply support a participant "Team-Raiser", you can do so by clicking the link "Support a Participant" at the top of the screen. We would be honored if you would like to lead a fundraising team. It's easy, fun and rewarding to see your friends and family become more informed about Children's healthcare in their community.

As a registered Team Leader, you are able to help us to reach our overall goal of $50,000 through the Radiothon 2008 Online Team-Raiser program. You start out by creating your team's name and fundraising goal. You will have access to your team's participant center to personalize the web page -- add pictures, create a message, and set a fundraising goal.
We have some suggested messages you can use, but be sure to personalize your message by describing why you have decided to help this fundraising event. Nothing would be more compelling to your family and friends then a direct story or explanation about what makes Children's special to you.

You will receive an e-mail alert every time someone chooses to support your team's goal. You will be able to keep track of your team members and donors by visiting your participant center.
